Caitlin's Third Period

So far her day was going all right. She hadn't met anybody to consider a friend, but hopefully that would change. She went into the Pandora barn where her mare Rose was. "Hey girl, I know it's not your favorite, but we have to practice," she said as she bridled the mare with a D-ring snaffle. Rose snorted as she was groomed quickly. It didn't take much time as the mare wasn't dirty at all. "Let's go," Caitlin said and led her horse to the showmanship arena.

Only the instructor, Ms. Adams, was there. The teacher waved and smiled warmly at Caitlin. "Hi Ms. Adams," the Irish girl said, and the teacher returned the greeting. The girl sat down on a cavaletti and Rose halted, resting a back leg while they waited for the rest of the students and their horses.
